You’re here because you care about preserving your memories and SO DO I. I love photography because of the weight and value of each moment - from the big events like weddings and births, to the smallest details like a tender hand on your arm and your footprints in the sand. These are all moments you want to cherish forever and I’m here for it.
What if you could look at your photographs and feel the memories that surround them?
I have loved photography from the moment I received my first (film!) camera at 9 years old. For a long time it was a side business as I completed college and worked as a Middle School English teacher for 5 years. When we moved to Florida in 2016 I decided to put the textbooks aside and pursue my dream of being a full time photographer, and it has exploded into more than I could ever have imagined!
my goal is to freeze time in a photograph so when you look back at your images you are immediately transported back to the feelings, emotions, and memories that were a part of it.
This requires authentic photographs that depict real emotions, not posed or staged pictures. During our session, I will guide and direct you as you interact with your loved ones, and hopefully even forget that there’s a camera around! Those are the true moments that are ALL YOU. I love being creative with light, angles, and prompts to create unique images with honest emotions that tell your story.
