4-H Animal Science University: Junior

Youth at A.S. University will explore animal agriculture by visiting different farms and seeing the ins and outs of raising different species of livestock on interactive field trips. Participants will get a unique look at farm management and biosecurity from behind-the-scenes tours of a variety of animal operations as well as classroom work. A.S. Junior College is open to youth 10-12 years old with an interest in building their animal science foundation. Certificate at completion. Tentative field trips may lead to extended hours on certain days; that will be announced closer to camp. Included: 2 snacks/day, fieldtrips, t-shirts, water bottle, other items. Not included: lunch (campers bring lunch). 9:00am -5:00pm (Early Dropoff if needed 8:30 am, campers will be watching a movie until 9
