GUITAR, UKULELE & WORSHIP

Instructor Alan Willis

A singer-songwriter and sought after worship leader, Jacksonville born Alan Willis is the product of a faith-filled and musically gifted family. Armed with his dad's old acoustic guitar and a desire to share a refreshingly honest appreciation of God's goodness, Alan started leading worship for the youth group at his church while in high school. It wasn't long before Alan was regularly playing around his hometown and, eventually at churches and events throughout the southeast.

After years of covering songs written by others, Alan began writting his own music during college. The years of compounded emotions and experiences came pouring out. These songs reflected his diverse musical influences and intimately personal heart of worship that Alan had long desired to share. Many of these acoustic-driven soungs would later be included on his first album, "Seasons". Shortly after the release of "Seasons" Alan signed a recording contract with Seventh Voice Productions, who produced his second album "Sparrows". After the release of "Sparrows Alan had the privilege of playng at churches, camps, and concert venues.

In 2010, he began teaching guitar lessons at Destiny Dance Center, which he co-owns with his wife, Tiffany. Alan loves sharing the gift of music and helping students reach their full creative potential. In addition to teaching, Alan currently serves as Worship Leader at Providence Bible Church in St. Augustine, Florida.
