  the water.<br /><br />Here's what our staff are looking for:<br /> Can the
 y swim a full length of the pool unassisted?<br /> Can they tread water for
  one minute?<br /> Can they float on their back?<br /><br />Kids who aren't
  there yet will be tested on a simpler but equally important skill — can th
 ey recover themselves from a face-up or face-down position in the water wit
 hout help?<br />Every child is tested where they are, no pressure. You'll l
 eave knowing their color and exactly what they're ready for this summer.<br
  />Kids ages 5+ who test at a beginner level qualify for our free Safety Ar
 ound Water lessons in June and July — at no cost to your family. These are 
 two-week programs with 30-minute daily lessons. Please note that all sessio
 ns must be attended to complete the program.<br />Just bring a swimsuit and
