 is fun and interactive program, participants will learn how to be responsib
 le, respectful, and safe around the animals in their lives. We’ll explore w
 hat pets need to be happy and healthy—including food, water, shelter, exerc
 ise, veterinary care, love, and plenty of patience.<br /><br />We’ll talk a
 bout how animals communicate and why it’s important to respect their person
 al space. Participants will learn how to interact appropriately with their 
 own pets, understand when an animal may want to be left alone, and recogniz
 e some of the signals animals use to tell us how they are feeling.<br /><br
  />And then comes the big question: What should you do if you see a strange
  dog in your neighborhood?<br /><br />Should you run? Pet it? Call it over?
  Stand still? We’ll talk through real-life situations and learn some simple
  rules for safely responding when we encounter unfamiliar animals.<br /><br
  />Through stories, questions, and hands-on discussion, participants will d
 iscover that being an animal lover isn't just about wanting to hug every do
 g or cat we meet. It’s about understanding animals, respecting their needs,
  making responsible choices, and knowing how to keep both ourselves and ani
 mals safe. Because being a true animal hero means knowing when to play, whe
