North Florida Fishing Camp

North Florida Fishing Camp is a summer fishing camp for kids in Jacksonville, Florida, heading into its 8th season. Campers spend their days on real charter boats with counselors and charter captains, inshore to offshore, then back at the dock for species ID, slot limits, cleaning the catch, and fish biology and conservation. Every week sold out last summer. A deposit by December 15 locks in this year's price.

DAY CAMP - Beach Marine, Jacksonville Beach. Ages 7-15. Mon-Fri, 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM (noon Friday after the family Fish Fry). $1,099 per week, $250 deposit. May 31 - June 4, June 7-11, July 5-9, July 12-16, 2027.

OVERNIGHT CAMP - Jacksonville University. Ages 9-15. Sunday-Friday in the JU dorms with the dining hall, a charter every day including a full 8-hour offshore day, and a family fish fry Friday. $2,499, $400 deposit. June 13-18 and June 20-25, 2027.

ADVANCED CAMP - Beach Marine. Ages 9-16. Mon-Thu, four long days: two 6-hour and two 8-hour charters, built to be spent offshore. Comfortable on a boat, no experience needed. Campers keep their fish. $1,599, $400 deposit. July 19-22 and July 26-29, 2027.

Included: rods, reels, tackle, bait, ice, charter boats, captains and fuel every day, camp shirt, daily photos and an evening recap in the parent account.
