Mia Bella's mission is to provide a place for a child to explore, learn, and blossom into a capable human being with limitless possibilities. This school is a Reggio Emilia philosophy discovery center.

The Reggio Emilia Approach is an educational philosophy that came to be after World War II in Reggio Emilia, Italy. It too was created as a haven for the children of this town, based on the idea that children as human beings possess strong potential for development and have the right to learn and grow in their relationships with others. Classroom activities follow the lead of the children’s interests, with the idea that a child’s desire to learn is only limited by their own imaginations.
