

We are pleased to share details about our Stable Hands Program, a premier 6-week equine and farm experience for children ages 5–18.
Program Overview
This hands-on curriculum is designed for both homeschool and traditional school families. It combines engaging education with real-world application in a nurturing, small-group setting up to 12 students per 90-minute session). The program uses a spiral learning model that builds on and reinforces core subjects, fostering confidence, teamwork, responsibility, and practical skills.
Program Highlights
• Week 1: Foundations & Safety – Master essential horse and animal handling safety techniques.
• Week 2: Equine & Farm Animal Anatomy & Breeds – Explore the science of horses and farm animals and discover breed diversity through interactive learning.
• Week 3: Tack & Animal Care – Learn tack safety, maintenance, and engage in meaningful interactions with horses and other farm animals.
• Week 4: Beginning Riding – Develop riding skills, including walk, trot, balance, and proper posture, with hands-on practice.
• Week 5: Horse & Animal Health & Nutrition – Study equine and animal wellness to keep horses and farm animals healthy and happy.
• Week 6: Stable Management – Gain practical knowledge of stable and farm operations, preparing for real-world responsibility.
Sessions are offered in semesters 1–12 week semester during the fall (September–December) and 1–18 week -spring semester (January–May).

Funding & Enrollment
The program qualifies for http://StepUpforStudents.org funding. As a direct provider, we can invoice through http://StepUpforStudents.org on the day of enrollment.
Alternatively, families may self-pay via invoice at signup.
