Little Free Libraries

Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization that inspires a love of reading, builds community, and sparks creativity by fostering neighborhood book exchanges worldwide.

We are at the heart of a global network of impassioned and action-oriented volunteers who establish and maintain community book-sharing boxes.

LFL book-sharing boxes can improve book access and thus help improve literacy where books are scarce. They can mitigate slippage of reading skills during summer breaks and make it possible for kids and parents to share books at times that are convenient. In addition, LFL book-sharing boxes project a message of welcome and good will.
