The Salvation Army - School of Performing Arts

Classes offered are Piano, Guitar, Percussion, Ballet

All classes are taught in a group setting. They will learn music theory, reading music and applying that to their instrument to play music, and the students will also be instructed to care for the instrument.

We offer Dance Classes (beginnings of Ballet) starting at age 5. Percussion, Piano & Guitar classes begin at age 7.

Our school runs in with the school year which is from August 21, 2025 – May 7, 2026, with a break from Thanksgiving thru Christmas & Spring Break. All students will be enrolled for the year.

Instruction lessons are 50 minutes in length. There will be a short Bible devotion at the beginning of each instruction hour.

The cost is $180 ($6/week for the year of instruction) per student per class for the year. We do work with families that need to make payment plans. We require a deposit of $90 per student to be paid upon enrollment. The balance of the tuition is to be paid no later than November 13, 2025.

We do loan drum pads, drumsticks, and guitars, as available at no extra charge. Supplies are limited. A piano class student is asked to make sure they have a keyboard available to them at home because we do not offer instrument loans on keyboards. If a student owns an instrument, we encourage them to use their own instrument.

We are now offering Adult Beginner Piano and Guitar Instruction. These classes are smaller and will be on Tuesday evenings from 530p-730p from August 19, 2025 – May 7, 2026, with the same breaks as stated above. These also are 50-minute classes. The cost is $300/student/class. Minimum deposit required is $150//student/class. If you would like more information or would like to enroll, please let me know. Space is limited.
