YMCA Basketball

At the Y, we believe all children should have the chance to learn healthy lifestyles, grow in leadership skills, and thrive among their peers. Our Youth Sports program approaches that belief in three ways.

There are two leagues to choose from – Youth Basketball League (YBL) and Premier League. There could be some local traveling in 4th grade and up for the YBL.

Coach Joey Williams (Coaching/Playing Bio) - Basketball

Coach Joey Williams is a basketball staple in Clay County, serving as the head basketball coach at Lakeside Junior High for 15 years and the head girls basketball coach at Fleming Island High for eight years. He has coached and trained at the YMCA since 1994 and currently serves as our basketball coordinator.
