YMCA Starters Basketball Clinics

Starter Basketball is for kids 5-7 yr and is an excellent way to introduce kids to basketball through engaging skill work, small-sided games (per instructor assessment on ability to play), group activities, and end of class character development activity. Led by YMCA basketball staff and follows a structured curriculum. Participants will receive a t-shirt at the end of the session.

Location: Offered at the Dye Clay YMCA or Barco-Newton YMCA.



Cost

YMCA Members: $140 (includes t-shirts)

Non-Members: $180 (includes t-shirts)



What to Wear

Basketball shoes are recommended. We strongly encourage you to bring your own basketball and water bottle. Basketballs will be available for those that do not have one.
