High School 9:12 has partnered with the Clay County Tourism Department and the Jacksonville Athletic Club to announce the Second Annual Clay County Cross Country Invitational on September 7, 2024.
The invitational will feature a 5k run for High School and Middle School boys and girls at the Seamark Ranch located at 3631 Seamark Ranch Road, FL-16, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043. Gates will open at 6:30 a.m followed by registration at 7:00 a.m. The race will begin at 8:00 a.m, featuring the high school boys' heat. To register for any of the races, visit the Jacksonville Athletic Club website.
There is an estimated attendance of 2,000 people and there will be food trucks and vendors on-site as well. The partnership this year will also highlight Seamark Ranch.

The Invitational will benefit High School 9:12, a 501(c)(3), designed to help the youth throughout Jacksonville and the First Coast by creating change in our community. The focus is taking a holistic approach to guide high school students and athletes to reach their full potential. This program utilizes academics, sports, and life skills to increase opportunities of success for students after graduation. High School 9:12 also produces the Fortegra Invitational Basketball Tournament along with the Rivalry on the River presented by Atlantic Self Storage.
