E-Bike Safety & Helmet Fittings at Barco Newton YMCA

Join us for an informative and hands-on session focused on staying safe while riding e-bikes. This class will cover why bike safety matters, injury prevention, rules and regulations, road signs and signals, proper helmet use, and basic e-bike maintenance. Participants will also learn how to correctly fit a bike helmet to help reduce the risk of injury.
This event is perfect for families and friends who ride e-bikes, adults who want to learn more about safely sharing the road, and parents who want to make sure their child' helmet fits properly.
Free bike helmets will be given away while supplies last. You are also welcome to bring your own helmet to the fitting. We will fit the helmet to you, teach you how to fit your specific helmet, and show you how the helmet should look and feel when properly worn.
Presented by HCA Orange Park and taught by a Trauma Injury Prevention RN at the Barco Newton YMCA.
