Salute to Service (formerly known as Military Appreciation Day) is back on Saturday, March 15, from 9 AM - 2 PM at the Clay County Fairgrounds! Quiet time will run from 9-10 AM.
This free, family-friendly event presented by VyStar honors the
men and women who are serving or have served our country and their families.
Event Highlights:
Food trucks, kids' zone, car show & interactive exhibits
Military displays, equipment, & Camp Blanding Museum exhibit
Ceremony & 2024 Veteran of the Year top nominees and award
Presentations on the PACT Act, DIC benefits, and Service Connected Cards
Local author Lieutenant Colonel R. V. Little, Jr. (Retired) presents Three Cold Wars, a military biography on his father’s career and his own service in Vietnam & the Cold War.
